good point, the opposite which is optimistic maturity (which means taking a God informed view) is needed to bust out of it. well, the hope of grabbing a government to be Christian in and of itself (even if it were wise and possible) is gone till Jesus physically is here again to rule. the hope of evangelism, of selling the gospel, is NOT gone. the gospel is meant for losers. it is meant to turn losers into winners. those who think they are winners now (but use a worldly measure for it) are not ready for the gospel.
Well, okay. Yet, Jesus never sold, the Gospel. Many after Him, have tried, to that measure. The Gospel cannot be sold or bought. It is either given and received, or not.
