It’s amazing how much people of that generation had to go through and endure and how far they eventually got. Life for us is much too easy, relatively speaking.
My father was just a little younger than Rush’s grandfather, BTW.

Walk away, no (IMHO) take it back, yes. BECAUSE a third party at this time will be suicide. But status quo HAS been suicidal.
Keep the faith, keep up the pressure. Change comes from the grass roots, local elections, hence Gov. Scott Walker in a blue state of mine.
Work hard every day. Dems do this and we pubbies don’t. They get incremental changes but now with Obammy, it’s full steam ahead. Man...... we MUST stop the likes of Rove, etc.

I’m glad I heard most of Rush’s interview w/his Grandfather. ElRushbo choose his ancestors well...
I too think Rush has been “down.” My gut, he realizes he made a mistake. A big one. He picked his pony (IMO) early for 2016; he then realized what a disasterous choice he had made w/Rubio.
I think his “buyers remorse” is what is eating at him.

Well, a lot of people criticized Rush over the years for not endorsing a Presidential candidate and promoting him through the show.
He might have finally listened to them, and now regrets it.

Not yet, I believe.
I think there was a Rush Room in a restaurant in Pittsburgh, in Bloomfield, I think. Don’t know how long it lasted.

Rush was talking about George Brett. I remember him in the 70’s and he was so handsome. I recently saw him when the Yanks played KC and he looks like an old man. Now I feel old!

Was it in the Pleasure Bar (used to be on Liberty Avenue—I don’t think it’s still there). It was a great Italian restaurant/bar with ALOT of “character(s).” The bldg may still be in use (probably yuppified).
