FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AUGUST 3, 2013
NANCY MACE, FIRST FEMALE GRADUATE OF THE CITADEL, SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, WILL SEEK GOP NOMINATION FOR U.S. SENATE IN SOUTH CAROLINA
Mace says, We cannot change Washington unless we change who we send to Washington.
August 3, 2013 Goose Creek, S.C. Nancy Mace announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate today in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Mace is a resident of Charleston and attended The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, where she was the schools first female graduate from its Corps of Cadets in 1999. Mace earned a masters degree in mass communication from The University of Georgia. She currently owns and operates a public relations firm.
Mace said, I grew up during the Reagan years. I believe our fortieth president understood what being an American was all about. He was proud, resolute, and he was an eternal optimist. Our friends knew he would be steadfast and our enemies respected him. President Reagan helped regain our national pride, but he also left us with a powerful warning. He said, Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction. He said we must fight for it, protect it, and defend it. I think those words ring true now more than ever.

I will send her some cash.
I know that Dem snake will fund people to flood the primary field.
SC is an open primary too.
Aren’t there about 4 others running also.
The more that run the less chance of primary’ing Graham.
maybe they should get together and back one.
I hope so too, she sounds perfect!
Voters who voted in a party's primary, can vote only in the runoff of the same party. Voters who did not vote in the primary, may vote in either party's runoff.
The primary is for Democratic and Republican candidates only. Candidates running unopposed for their Party's nomination will not appear on primary ballots.
Voters may not vote in a political partys runoff if they voted in another political partys primary. However, voters who did not vote in either politicial partys primary may vote in either politicial partys runoff.
A defeated primary candidate may not actively offer or campaign as a write-in candidate for the ensuing election. The use of posters or stickers on the ballot is not permitted. The voting machine provides for a voter to write-in a candidate. Write-in votes are not allowed in primary elections or the election of President or Vice-president.
And put one of these fine folks in his place: |

Beat the RINOs in the primaries and the RATs in the general elections.

Beat the RINOs in the primaries OR THE RUNOFFS and the RATs in the general elections.
Oh...that is a problem - but how many of them could be trolls for Graham knowing a strong primary challenge was coming up?
If we need to remove any incumbent Republican this election cycle, Graham should be at the top of the list - a conservative state should be represented by a conservative Senator.
Freepers need to understand the details of how elections actually work.
Cruz won over Dewhurst because there were so many challengers in the primary.

...and a Palin endorsement helped
Too many remain ignorant of the process.

So which of these three is the most electable conservative? I cannot send money to all three.
Lets hope the Cruz model works.
I fear the open primary will attract Dems to vote to save Grahnesty.
Anybody but sweetheart Lindsey.
Yeah, that’s been a problem. Which is why I posted the info at the top of this thread. And even with that, some FReepers STILL don’t get it. Oh well :)
At this point I can't offer advice or even an opinion. IMHO, it's too early to know.
Study each candidate. Pick the one whose political beliefs most align with yours. That's my plan. But it may take six months before I know.
“If we need to remove any incumbent Republican this election cycle, Graham should be at the top of the list”
I vote for boehner being at the top of the primary list!
