FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AUGUST 3, 2013
NANCY MACE, FIRST FEMALE GRADUATE OF THE CITADEL, SMALL BUSINESS OWNER, WILL SEEK GOP NOMINATION FOR U.S. SENATE IN SOUTH CAROLINA
Mace says, We cannot change Washington unless we change who we send to Washington.
August 3, 2013 Goose Creek, S.C. Nancy Mace announced her candidacy for the U.S. Senate today in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Mace is a resident of Charleston and attended The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, where she was the schools first female graduate from its Corps of Cadets in 1999. Mace earned a masters degree in mass communication from The University of Georgia. She currently owns and operates a public relations firm.
Mace said, I grew up during the Reagan years. I believe our fortieth president understood what being an American was all about. He was proud, resolute, and he was an eternal optimist. Our friends knew he would be steadfast and our enemies respected him. President Reagan helped regain our national pride, but he also left us with a powerful warning. He said, Freedom is never more than a generation away from extinction. He said we must fight for it, protect it, and defend it. I think those words ring true now more than ever.

I may be wrong, but I don’t think Lee Bright has announced he is running. He would be my top choice. He is doing his best to pass the open carry in SC. He is also a true Conservative.
Anyone but Graham.
I don’t live in SC; I’ll wait for someone on this board whom I trust to provide a summary.
I emailed a friend of mine who lives in Missouri regarding one of their races a year or two ago—and sent a donation to the person they recommended. :)
Sometimes I just have to trust friends who are closer to the situation. :)
If you come to a conclusion, let me know. Thanks.
The “Anybody but Graham!” campaign...love it!
I hope you are doing well.

Oh good, I thought it was whoever won the most votes. Run off is fine.
From this post from Friday, 8/2: "Bright said Thursday that he will enter the race in the next two weeks, while Mace has set an announcement for Saturday at 9 a.m. Already in the race is former congressional candidate Richard Cash."
The graphic is just forward looking :)
Hello Florida! Who knows what will happen to the Nancy Mace campaign. I’m from the Upstate and she is from Charleston. I already know Lee Bright and am interested to learn more about Mace and to hear her speak. So far, she seems to be a solid conservative. 3.7 Magna Cum Laude from The Citadel has to say something about her as well.
Not pimping her book, but it’s a good read and eye-opening: In the Company of Men: A Woman at the Citadel
Bump, get it done South Carolina!
“...Study each candidate. Pick the one whose political beliefs most align with yours. That’s my plan. But it may take six months before I know....”

That is a reasonable plan. But once each of us makes our picks, let’s make sure we don’t bad mouth ANY of Little Lindsey’s challengers. Let’s all save our attacks for Lindsey. In the primary, a vote for ANY of the challengers is a vote against Lindsey Graham.
No more circular firing squads of conservatives firing away at other conservatives.
But all of us can contribute to one of Grahmnesty’s challengers regardless of where we live!
This lady sounds great. But if there are others they need to team up and see who has the best chance to take goober out.
This race can easily be nationalized but it has to make sense first.
Not really. A vote for other than the Lindsey challenger with the best chance to win at the time of the primary is a vote for Lindsey.
Absolutely, since Mcqueeg is not running this time goober certainly has to be at the top of the list.
Find someone conservative to run on the Dem ticket to keep them from voting for Lindsey.
Not really. A vote for other than the Lindsey challenger with the best chance to win at the time of the primary is a vote for Lindsey.

Well, if that’s your opinion, OK. Feel free to support the conservative Lindsey challenger who you feel has the best chance to win. Just don’t start a war against the other challengers—save your fire for Lindsey.
