Actually, any student of political history would understand that those who start “3rd Party” movements usually fail, and USUALLY only end up helping the opposition Party.

It is arrogant for you to assume that you have the power to form a new Party and get ANYONE to really follow it, in large enough numbers to make a positive difference for the Country. Yes, you can make a NEGATIVE difference, and I think that is what you are really up to.

If you hate politics so much why on Earth are you here?

I am upset with you because you are part of the “circular firing squad” -— a typical “eat your own” false conservative who does nothing but hurt the cause with your complaints and lack of support when someone like Issa tries to do the right thing.

What would YOU do if you were Issa?

Issa is one man, and I think Issa is doing more than anyone at FR to help the Conservative cause.

Dear Congressman Issa, they are going to continue ignoring you until someone goes to jail. Then they may pay attention to you at least until Obama starts pardoning them.

I never claimed to hate politics. It’s the human beings in politics that anger me. Especially the wolves in sheeps’ clothing. The only ones participating in the circular firing squad are the GOPe. The rest of us have had enough sense to back out of that disaster. Good for Sarah and Michelle for finally realizing this. Unlike you, they know their tallents are needed else ware. Also, I have clearly pointed out who is eating their own. It is not us. It is, again, the GOPe. Go ask Allen West and Herman Cain about that. Finally, if Issa were to truly uphold his oath, he would not be cowering to the GOPe overlords who have so obviously reigned him in for fear of upsetting the DNC. Actually, if the GOPe were to uphold their oaths none of this would even have happened. They are the DNC lite. Both parties are going in the same direction, it’s just that one party is driving a little faster than the other. The GOPe has their public voting record as proof of this statement. I will not support somebody or something that goes against my principles, especially an organization that goes against my principles again, and again, and again, and again, and again . . .

Sir, I’m no beaten wife GOPe supporter. I’m a mama grizzly and Washington is messing with my cubs’ futures. You say a third party can’t win. Well I agree! The RNC will be that third party sir. Spit!

You claim support that you don't have.
Yes, some big names in the Conservative ranks are warning the GOP establishment to be careful.
However, that is a warning, only, at this time.
I seriously doubt that Bachmann or Palin will ever run as anything other than Republicans, themselves, and they will not endorse anyone other than Republicans.
Face reality, get serious, and -— also, read what you wrote and think this through a bit:
Human beings will be the members of ANY new “Party”. It will be impossible to avoid arrogance, price, stupidity, cowardice, greed and disloyalty in ANY political Party which accepts Human beings as members.

Exactly what do you propose they do?

The GOP only controls the House. Democrats control the DOJ, the Senate, the White House and the media. All the Republicans can do is hold hearings and hope the public (that's YOU) will pressure media outlets to cover these Obama crimes.

The ignorance on display in this thread is MIND-NUMBING! All the Republicans can do is hold hearings & pray the public takes notice. They have no legal power. They only control the House of Representatives. They can't appoint a Special Prosecutor or arrest anyone and they can't demand news outlets cover their press conferences or hearings.

Without the senate or the White House the GOP is only able to plead on FOX NEWS for America to wake up!

The GOPe needs to try. They need to come right out and say it:

“This administration is an evil empire. It is a criminal enterprise from the top to the bottom.”

It’s not what they should do but what they shouldn’t do. They hold the purse strings so obamacare could be dead now. In addition to that, they plan on passing amnesty. Both houses are needed for that, so amnesty could be dead now. Considering the public overwhelmingly hates both of these issuse, they have nothing to lose . . . except whatever perks their getting from lobbyists to continue the ruse. As I already posted, they are driving us toward socialism just at a slower pace than the DNC. If you’re comfortable with that then stick with them. I refuse to fall for their lies anymore though. You go ahead and carry Boner’s hanky around for him and wipe his nose when he cries.

You sound like you have been attending RNC surrender parties. Are they fun?

Did the Dems tip toe through the tulips when Reagan or Bush was in the WH? Of course not. All we are asking is the GOP be an engaged opposition party to obama and the Dem agenda. If that is “ignorance” than so be it.

The fact is we have had nearly weekly revelations on the various scandals and the GOP leadership has done NOTHING. They totally refuse to engage obama on the outrageous conduct of the OBAMA IRS, Benghazi cover up, etc., etc.

I will buy you a clue: that type of “leadership” is why they are losing and are the minority party.

One final comment about shooting Republicans in the back: Christine O’Donnell, Michelle Bachman, Sarah Palin, Herman Cain, and Allen West. What do these good folks have in common? They were either shot in their backs by the GOPe, or savagely attacked from the outside while the GOPe did nothing for thier defense. Hell, the GOPe didn’t even send financial support to Perry to battle the baby killers last month!

You almost got the nail on the head there!

The thing to understand is that, as Standing Wolf said:

The Democratic [sic] face of the Big Government party does most of the end runs around the Constitution; the Republican face of the Big Government party does nearly all the huffing and puffing.
Or, to put it in even more general terms: anything the Republican Party says it stands for is a lie. (Precisely because they stand for nothing, except perhaps what the Democrats are doing.)
Seriously, consider:
  1. government accountability: Fast & Furious, Benghazi, IRS, NSA — how many of these have people in jail (or hanged, as some are flat-out treason), how many will put even one higher-administrative person in jail?
  2. fiscal responsibility: why is the debt never addressed? why is spending never appreciably cut?
  3. abortion: some may argue that the partial birth abortion ban is proof that the republican party has done something to forward illegalizing abortion. Gosnel, and the other reveals immediately after his trial, though proved that law to be nothing more than a feel-good measure.
  4. moral principles: the GOP is willing to, every time, sacrifice principles when the issue of electability comes up.
  5. gun rights: have you ever noticed that they take credit for the Assault Weapons Ban terminating? They had to literally do nothing because of the sunset clause! Moreover, when was the last time you heard them even suggest pushing repeal of the National Firearms Act or the Gun Control Act?
  6. moral principles 2: Did you watch the shenanigans to get Romney elected? Retroactive rule changes in the primaries. Rule changes at the RNC decided before the vote finished. Etc.
  7. lower taxes: when was the last time you heard a republican talk about changing the [income tax] tax-system to a flat-rate, no-exception, no-exemption, no-credit, no-withholding system?
Q: So, what does the Republican Party, at the national level, actually do?
A: Stab us in the back.

OK, now pretend YOU are Issa, what would you do, Genius?

This:

  1. 18 USC § 241 - Conspiracy against rights
  2. 18 USC § 242 - Deprivation of rights under color of law
  3. 18 USC § 372 - Conspiracy to impede or injure officer
  4. 18 USC § 872 - Extortion by officers or employees of the United States
  5. 18 USC § 873 - Blackmail
  6. 18 USC § 875 - Interstate communications
  7. 18 USC § 1516 - Obstruction of Federal audit
  8. 18 USC § 1801 - Video voyeurism
  9. 18 USC Chapter 96 - RACKETEER INFLUENCED AND CORRUPT ORGANIZATIONS
  10. 18 USC Chapter 109 - SEARCHES AND SEIZURES
  11. 18 USC § 2261A - Stalking
  12. 18 USC Chapter 119 - WIRE AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS INTERCEPTION AND INTERCEPTION OF ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
That's what I'd be looking into charging each person in the IRS (and NSA) with; I'd also be forwarding along the above and this paper to Grand Juries everywhere, perhaps even news-conference it.

Then, just to shake things up in congress, I'd charge/accuse the people voting Aye on Amnesty with Treason charges. (Which is fairly easily provable.)

That's what I'd do. —— Yeah, I don't think I'd have a lot of friends, but I'd sure have the right enemies.

Do you get that point?

at one time, there were 25 elected officials who I, personally, had recruited to run for office.
I am a former PAC director of a prolife PAC. I helped computerize their mailing list, for endorsement purposes, before anyone had ever thought of such things.
I am a the former Treasurer of the Kansas Republican Party.
I am not posting any of this to brag, only to inform you that BITCHING is EASY!
Getting people elected, and getting good laws passed, and stopping bad legislation, is very hard work.
When someone like Issa tries to do the right thing, it ticks me off to read all of the arm-chair-quarterbacks second-guessing and trashing everything he does.

Apparently you're failing to understand — he has the standing to really bust open crap, so the courts could not legitimately toss it out, and the Grand Juries… they're more powerful than the government likes, which is why they've tried to restrict them [but they cannot simply erase presentment, as it is mentioned in the Constitution].

But let me put it to you this way: should he be just rolling over and dieing, or actually pursuing these thieves and liars with each and every thing that he can think of?

I believe Rep. D. Issa is doing the best he can, with no true support. As your accomplishments- you only stated paid positions and that you worked very hard, in a vague manner. Get off the cross, we need the wood. Oh, and you might want to quit insulting voters, by all means possible. Your lack of tact, resembles an ego-manic with an inferiority complex.
