In this case, the old saying, "Better late than never" really shouldn't apply. In June, when the government's Household Survey used to determine the unemployment rate reported that there were 240,000 fewer full-time workers and 360,000 more part-time workers than there were in May, the establishment press, particularly the Associated Press, largely ignored or downplayed the result.
The AP's Christopher Rugaber broke the ice a bit in early July after June's jobs report, and the wire service has finally gone full-bore into noting the trend towards part-time work in the past two days. But while the press slept for months, center-right bloggers and many others have been chronicling the trend anecdotally since late last year, and gradually with solid numbers from the government's own reports as the year has worn on.

Unexpected . . . . . . . . . . . . by the Oblame-o administration!
As Rush said, the White House Commie continues to have his administration continue to destroy America as we know it while he flies around the country in campaign mode totally disassociating himself from the chaos he has personally created. To him, this may absolve him of some responsibility for the chaos he has created for the American people, but history will label him as the worst president ever and if his constant race baiting does not end in another LA riot, he will be lucky to be seen as just another black street thug.
Trend kind of indicates drift and slight change over time.
This has been going on now for at least 13 years.
Trend?
There are times when you just want to walk up to a journalist and slap the living S out of ‘em.
The left is fond of using tax law to shape behavior, yet they pretend to be surprised that ObamaCare (tax law) shapes behavior? What did they expect to happen when they made hiring full-time workers more expensive and increased the cost of existing full-time workers if not to force new hires into part-time work at a lower wage?
The original AP article is absolutely damning.
There has been no recovery in full-time jobs. ObamaCare has destroyed any possibility of a recovery in full-time jobs. There is a direct relationship between the lack of full-time jobs and the anemic GDP growth.
This article is a “The Emperor Has No Clothes” moment.
The article says “noting the trend towards part-time work in the past two days.” This has been going on a lot longer than two days. Great work by another “journalist”.
