Matt Bevin is the real deal, and American conservatives should unite behind him to resurrect the values that McConnell and the establishment have killed in the GOP. I spoke with Drew Ryun a couple of days ago, and he had a twinkle in his eye when sharing about Bevin. His PAC now, other additional and similarily powerful conservative backers soon to follow!

I agree with you and I am voting for Matt Bevin.

On Thursday I received a political flyer in the mail. Nice and glossy, (expensive), in it the McConnell campaign was trashing Bevin.

Here are the things it was accusing him of and called him a Fraud and a Con-man.

1. Sued by hundreds of people for selling defective products then bankrupted his company to dodge creditors.

2. No history of volunteering for TEA Party groups or conservative causes.

3. Donates money to liberal Democratic Candidates.

4. Took a Government bailout for his company in Connecticut

5. Failure to pay taxes resulted in being named in the “Top ten delinquents owing money to East Hampton”

Well you know something McConnell and your smarmy campaign if you fought even a quarter as hard against Harry Reid and the Democrats as you do against a Conservative opponent to your position we wouldn’t be having this ‘conversation’ because you would have been doing your job instead of ‘going along to get along’ with the Democrats in D.C.

McConnell is just like John McCain - fights to the death against a conservative but tip toes through the tulips when it comes to challenging a Democrat. These wimpy, RINOs make me sick.

Moreover, there is widespread fear among conservatives in the state that McConnell will lose the seat in the general election.

I don't think the Dems have a chance no matter who the candidate is. But McConnell is part of the problem. He is a man who has never earned a dime in salary that didn't come from the taxpayers. Bevin is someone who has made his career in the private sector. It is time that we got some leadership in Congress that aren't professional politicians.

No you can't. But elect enough conservatives to the Senate and reduce him to irrelevance and his head would probably explode. That would accomplish the same thing.

Voters in the great state of Kentaucky....Mitch McConnell must go!!! He is naught but a RINO “Weak Sister”!!! Please give Kentucky Senator Rand Paul someone he can work with. When Mitch McConnell signs, endorses and promotes the Lee/Cruz defund Obamacare petition among Republican Senators, (www.dontfundobamacare.com) I’ll maybe reconsider him!!! Right now he is useless!!!!

SUPPORT THE LEE/CRUZ anti-Obamacare petition. Sign and endorse today!!! (www.dontfundobamacare.com)

Unfortunately Rand Paul himself has endorsed McConnell, and said he would not support a Tea Party primary challenge to McConnell. Very disappointing, I would be interested to know what voters of Kentucky think of that, and how that will affect Bevin's chances.

“Earlier this year, Senator Rand Paul illustrated the problem with the GOP establishment by noting that they have grown stale and moss-covered”

Too bad Rand is endorsing Mitchie for re-election.

Yes! If Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and Mike Lee really want to increase the size of their caucus in the Senate, then endorsing the likes of Mitch McConnell doesn't seem the way to go about it. I sure hope Ted Cruz doesn't do the same thing by endorsing his senior Senator John Cornyn here in Texas, we need to get rid of Cornyn as bad as we need to get rid of McConnell

People in KY will stick with McC. All they know is the incumbent.

You are right; at least the Kentuckians have a choice, but the Texans are so determined to keep Cornyn that no one will challenge him in the primary and probably not much general election challenge either.

McC started out as the county judge in Louisville; what was he before that? People in KY think he is tremendous, but they don’t know why.

There is probably some kind of ordinance in Cincinnati that says one can’t challenge an incumbent of his own party in a primary. Not really, but it might as well be.
