I believe the lifestyle is a choice.

The orientation, for many, probably is not.

One way or another, sexual degeneracy is not the product of nature, it is the product of nurture (even the absence of nurture is nurture, negative nurture). If sexual degeneracy were natural God would not have stated clearly that it is an abomination before Him.

You are correct. But everyone has the choice of how to ACT. I like to make the analogy that some people are aroused by pyromania. Should they have special rights as well? It’s an action chosen, just like having abberant sex.

But “orientation” is with all of us constantly.

Most men are “oriented” to young women with large breasts, beautiful faces, and few clothes. Most women are “oriented” to tall, athletic, good-looking men with money or great jobs.

We may be inclined that way but most of us become wise enough to realize that inclinations shouldn’t drive behavior.

We all come into the world equipped and inclined to lie, deceive, hurt others, or to dislike hard work. We don’t give a pass to people who persist in that all their lives.

NO, the question of whether to "be" gay, including all its effeminate affectations, behavioral trappings and flaming exhibitionisms, are all decisions made at the conscious level, often times for the most effed-up reasons imaginable. I know, because I'm one who chose to be straight despite myriad and almost undeniable encouragement to choose the other.

The point came where I had to make a choice, and despite a strong wish to shame my abusive father, I chose to make a decision for me, instead of making one for him. I realized that, by choosing otherwise, I would appear to be opposing him, but in truth, he would remain in control of my life forever.

Becoming homosexual has very little to do with sex, and everything to do with how we choose to "act out" in defiance of things we perceive as being "shoved upon us." The faggotry is just an unfortunate result of this choice, which is why so many fags commit suicide.

It's not because they feel ostracized by society; it's because they realize that they've made a choice against themselves, against who they truly are at their core.

You just cannot win an internal struggle when your entrenched position's justification is built upon a monstrous lie you told yourself back when you were young and stupid enough to believe it.

Far too often, the only way out is to end the life you chose to waste on a self-desrtuctive lie.

Look at the thousands more who left faggotry behind by accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There can be no more conclusive, inarguable proof against the lie that gays are "born" and not "made."

Last, don't bother trying to argue this unassailable truth; I speak from what I know to be true, not from that about which I at times find it interesting to hypothesize because,"I read an article somewhere..."
