Members of Congress are heading back to their districts this weekend for the August recess, but regulators across Washington will remain at work crafting new rules.
In coming weeks and months, the Obama administration is set to issue scores of regulations, some of them long-delayed and others stemming from more recent laws.
The Hill has assembled a list by no means exhaustive of notable regulations on tap that run the gamut from power plants to vending machines.
Here's a look at seven major regulations to come:
Power plants In June, President Obama announced a major new initiative to combat climate change that would set limits on carbon pollution from power plants.
His proposal addresses both existing and yet-to-be-built plants, which will be addressed in separate rules from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The first of those proposals, on new power plants, has been sent to the White House budget office for a review

Make that “Seven Obama regulations to IGNORE.”
Babysitter’s will get minimum wage, overtime and benefits? If that happens, won’t these babysitters be required to declare their income & pay taxes? No more under-the-table money. Government wants more income, don’t you know.
Maybe even teen pet sitters, house cleaners, window washers, and lawn mowers will be required to declare their income and get benefits.
Uncle Sam doesn’t want to miss out on anything. Be careful how much you make from selling your old stuff at garage sales, because the government wants a percentage of your profit.
One of these days, “we the people” will get sick of all these regulations.
That is what those who voted for Obama wanted. They is what they voted for... well, not exactly. They voted for Obama because of the freebies he promised them, but this is what they are going to get. What they forgot was, like all hogs that get all they want for a time, is that they are being fattened for the slaughter.

It’s easier to sit in their office bars and party out of the eyes of the citizen. Why do anything that might get them called a name in the media when nobody holds their feet to the fire.
They get paid either way.
