Video: Graham says sequestration will hurt us on the next terror threat

In the “credit where credit is due” department, one thing you can say for Lindsey Graham is that he clearly doesn’t care all that much about politics or future elections. The Senator was trotted out on CNN this morning for a chat with Candy Crowley where they discussed the current terror threat and embassy closings. An important topic to be sure, but Graham couldn’t help himself, it seems, and had to weave some comments on sequestration into the larger story with a side helping of praise for the NSA and the White House. (Hat tip to Andrew Johnson at The Corner.)

I'm sure everyone on FR already knows this, but Lindsey Graham is a flaming, flipping moron.

What he's really saying is this: The Federal Behemoth doesn't know how to set priorities appropriately and then set spending priorities to back those priorities.

That Lindsey Graham throws out a line like that and expects s to be so stupid to believe it is a HUGE INDICATOR that he's been in Washington DC far too long and needs to be primaried out of office.

For the love of-— the amount from the sequestration was 80 Billion— we blew through that in the second day after it kicked in on EBT cards... alone.

Lindsey pack your...bags and your boyfriend and head home.

Gay Republicans currently in office like Senators Lindsey Graham and Mark Kirk and Congressman Aaron Schock need to just come out already. Former gay office holders like Governor Charlie Crist and Senator Trent Lott need to come out too. I’m sure there are a number of lesbians in the GOP political ranks, too, but I’ve never known who any of they are. Watch Republicans who every now and again break ranks to be heralded as “bipartisan!” by stabbing the GOP in the back on certain votes — and more likely than not you’ll see a pattern where Graham, Kirk, Schock, and other guys mysteriously side against their constituents and the Republican Party line seemingly out of the blue.

It's Time for All Gay Republicans to Come Out Already

Lindsey Graham is a gay man whom Democrats have been blackmailing for decades now. He is as gay as rainbows. He’s got Bette Davis eyes, for crying out loud. This fact would be obvious to Helen Keller if she was still with us. It is more than okay for you to talk about this openly. Because it is true.

Democrats have a file on Graham which involves all sorts of things that the institutional Left has documented about his sexuality and romantic antics while in Washington for all this time; word to the wise to Republican closet cases: the rent boys and male prostitutes working the Capital are not as discrete as their escort services promise they’ll be.

10 Stupid things conservatives do that Democrats love

The sequester isn’t the problem, it’s the enemy within the WH and congress not doing a damn thing about it.

What terror threat? In Graham’s, Obama’s, McCain’s, and the main stream media’s view, the terrorists are Conservatives, the Christian Conservatives make up the radical element.

I never did understand why DOD was cut so much heavier than other branches of the government. I thought it was supposed to be 5% across the board.

Graham talks about the threat of groups like al Quada.

Does he not realize that we’re trying to help them overthrow a government in Syria? Does he not realize that we’re actually arming them?]

He and mcLame can rot.

Also, if the Obama administration is running weapons through Benghazi to help overthrow the government of Syria, who does that make the terrorists?

This question worries me. I believe the people we’re trying to help overthrow the Syrian government may be worse than the current government.

Is it true weapons were being run through Benghazi? I don’t know but that’s been one of the stories lately.

If they were running weapons to the Syrian opposition through Benghazi, it would make sense that the terrorists were Shia muslim, as in Iran, or the Syrian government, or Russian controlled.

Syria is a proxy war with big players on the sidelines, much like the beginnings of WWI.. This really could blow up big.

I haven’t seen where Syria was attacking another country. Therefore, I don’t see the need to help terrorists overthrow a government.

I certainly don’t see making the Russians as the bad guys here. They have to deal with Islamic extremists just like we do.
