Who is the fool who thinks he or she can sponsor something like this in the United States and not have the pants or skirt sued off them when the first person is gored by a bull? This ain’t Spain, with a centuries-old tradition of doing this. Putting aside whether this is wise on its merits alone, we live in a litigation-happy culture. My bet is that this happens until the first person is seriously hurt, then its shut down and goes bankrupt.

I want bullfighting to become a national sport here in America.
Furthermore, I want our politicians to all have to serve as matadors until they either win or get ‘Gored.’
Can’t you just envision Barbara Boxer trying to impress the bull with her officious nature? How about the cow Stabenow getting the cape wrapped around her legs and falling flat on her puss?
Hairy Reed would be funny. He’d probably try to romance the bull not caring that it was a bull.
It would be a whole lot more entertaining than watching these fools during their long halftimes on the floor of the Senate.
