BRISTOL, Conn. — Even gun makers want to be liked. So governors and other politicians from states eager to embrace the industry have descended on places where they are not so popular — like Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Colorado — offering tax breaks and outright cash grants to persuade them to relocate.
“I sensed an opportunity,” said Alan Clemmons, a South Carolina state representative, who traveled to Connecticut in the spring as part of a successful effort to lure PTR, a maker of assault rifles here. “They are not feeling loved right now in Connecticut. We’re delighted to have them.”
In June, Gov. Rick Perry of Texas and South Dakota’s governor, Dennis Daugaard, toured Connecticut within days of one another, visiting sites like the Colt factory in Hartford, which the famed gun maker has called home for more than 150 years.

The anti-gun states are also going to lose a lot of their tax-base, also, as pro-gun members of the population leave.
And we should apply pressure on those manufacturers (of any type) who choose to remain in such socially backward states (Connecticut, Maryland, New York and Colorado). Libs are to be despised, isolated, and f*rted in the general direction of.
The guillotine comes later.
Its a tough call: If all the gun manufacturers leave anti-gun’ states, then those state legislators don’t even need to take into account the impact on jobs and the economy, when they pass even more laws. I do think that in some cases, some gun laws have been muted/watered down in recognition of the manufacturing base...it may have the effect of making anti-gun states more anti-gun, and pro-gun states more pro-gun....that is not necessarily a good thing.
They don't much anyway. Plus, if that's true, it'll lead to the gun friendly states being even more so, and even with a boost, the anti states are still going to suck. Time to cut em loose and stop enabling bad legislative behavior. They should be starved out and refused entry into free states.

The profits of Machinery Movers should be going up for the next couple of years.
I think they should make the incentives even sweeter by offering contracts on gun purchases from state agencies; and also special state commemorative guns, that are both functional and collectibles.
Imagine how spectacular a $5,000-$10,000 collectible rifle could be. Encourage the company to do R&D with exotic alloys, high tech ceramics stronger than steel, advanced ultra-hard carbon like graphene. They might come up with a whole new class of gun.
