that used to be the NORM.. so while I found the video entertaining and somewhat inspiring it also broke my heart comparing todays norm with that of yesteryear.
A little bit of game can transcend differences of culture. Once, music was that way.
And to think...for the first 130-something years of Mormon templehood (early 1840s into the first half of 1978), blacks SPECIFICALLY couldn’t walk into a Mormon temple...or get married in a Mormon temple...all because the Mormon god officially objected to their skin color.

I’m not an expert on the religion by any means. But I thought Joseph Smith was an abolitionist who not only allowed blacks into the church but permitted black men to be ordained as priests and that the anti-black policies only began under Brigham Young.
