President Barack Obamas job approval dropped to the lowest level of his second term during the week of July 29 to Aug. 4, when 45 percent of respondents told the Gallup poll they approved of the job the president was doing and 48 percent said they disapproved.
In the previous week, which ended on July 28, Obamas approval had been 46 percent in the Gallup poll and his disapproval had been 47 percent.

Maybe they’ll improve after his appearance on the jay Leno show tonight. ???
At this point what difference does it make?
45%? He’s lost a few of the leeches this week.
I think he will continue to fail unless there is a large terror attack. Then all bets are off because the US supports the Pres. no matter who he is when there's a real threat. Let's hope that does NOT happen...for more reasons than one.
Poll numbers , blah , Obama will use the NSA , FBI , IRS etc etc to win his 3rd 4th 5th etc terms
I wonder what his poll numbers would be without the sycophantic media propping him up.
45% seems really high for a guy who has proven himself to be an unmitigated disaster for America.
Forget about polling Obama. Gallup should start polling Valerie Jarrett since she’s the real POTUS.
These polls will reflect on democrats if they continue to deteriorate....look for rats to begin to abandon him when the elections near. Obama is losing his glow as time and scandals catch up to the “liar-in-chief”!!!!
The Dem’s and McCain will push for a third term so he can correct his mistakes. Again.
Wow imagine if this was true!
That’s about 20 points too high.
Should be about 90% lower to truly reflect his level of competence.

Gallup...go figure.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
If their messianic leader personally slapped each of these respondents upside the face, I wonder if they would just write it off as a love tap.
