Groups hold "Un Welcome Boehner Party" outside U.S. Rep. Scott Perry's fundraiser

U.S. House Speaker John Boehner, R Ohio, spoke at a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Scott Perry's campaign committee...

Dozens of immigration reform advocates, union representatives, supporters of President Barack Obama and others protested outside a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Scott Perry's campaign committee.

The main target of their criticism was the guest speaker: U.S. House Speaker John Boehner, R Ohio.....

Tickets for the private fundraiser started at $500 for an individual and $750 for a couple....

Bob Wilson, chairman of the York County Republican Committee, attended the fundraiser. He said Obamacare and tax reform were two major topics during the discussion. He said Boehner praised the work Perry was doing in the House.

"I'm proud that I was able to be in attendance," Wilson said......

Here's what U.S. Rep Scott Perry, R-York County, had to say on a few issues:

Immigration: "Anything that smacks of amnesty is not supported by the American people generally, and it's certainly not supported by the people in the 4th Congressional District".....

John Boehner: "The speaker's got a tough job right?" Perry said. "He's got to get the whole spectrum together on moving things forward. And he needs to be able to appeal to all sides."

Perry said that even though they don't always agree, they are on the same team........

My congressman, who's part of that group of about 70 or so who promote themselves as "grassroots conservatives" on amnesty and other issues, got a fundraising boost from the amnesty architect, John Boehner, this week.

It proves my point that over 90 percent of the GOP politicians we elect are phony business as usual politicians, including many who bill themselves as "conservatives" or "patriots" like this guy who's my congressman.

This MSM story focuses on the leftie protestors outside but towards the end gets to the main point.

My "conservative patriot" congressman speaks of Boehner "The speaker's got a tough job right......He's got to get the whole spectrum together on moving things forward. And he needs to be able to appeal to all sides."

The news story goes on to say "Perry said that even though they don't always agree, they are on the same team."

ARE WE ON THE SAME TEAM AS JOHN BOEHNER?????????

I am not, but my congressman is on the same team with Boehner.

Needless to say, my Boehner supporting congressman does not deserve to be elected again next year......

I will vote against Perry in the primary and general elections but only for a real conservative primary challenger or third party if this phony conservative makes it past the primary.

What a coincidence - I'm not particularly welcoming towards him either.

VERY disappointing for Perry to embrace Boehner like this. Perry had strong TEA party support when he was elected as Todd Platts replacement, but is now getting corrupted. I wonder what he gave Boehner in exchange for appearing at his fund raiser?

The word about this needs to be spread because the MSM and the RINOstream media like most talk show hosts and Fox News won’t be spreading it.

John Boehner: "The speaker's got a tough job right?" Perry said. "He's got to get the whole spectrum together on moving things forward. And he needs to be able to appeal to all sides."

One cannot imagine Nancy Pelosi ever saying such a thing.

obamacare is good for congress. First of all, they get great coverage on the cheap. Plus, they get their kickbacks from insurance companies. And all those companies that go to part time employees might figure out a way to save some money. They can then “donate” the savings to congress creeps. There’s money everywhere!

Voting for a republican is not going to do anyone any good.

From the headline I hoped the Tea party were protesting Boehner. I am sad its the libs.

These protesters know Boehner supports them. Waste of time for them to protest him.

I haven't checked lately, but what exactly is the Tea Party and Tea Party Patriots doing lately to the likes of Boehner, just to name one. Are they marching in front of his offices, (and other politicians’ offices), loudly protesting with voices and signs to show their extreme pleasure on behalf of We the People, with this so-called Republican’s actions and pro-Democratic/Socialist policies, conducted in the shadows and otherwise. Let them know that WE know what they're up to and that we won't stand for it...that we will target them and get rid of them one way or another, politically, if they don't do the principled thing and FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY AND FOR WE THE PEOPLE. There, got that off my chest.

we should start emailing and pointing out that the pro-amnesty crowd will not vote for him even if he gives them everything they want. The people whose votes he will be asking for are opposed to this 1000%!

That is what he needs to know.

Good idea, and just one subject we must bring up to him. I think he makes his decisions, and then douses himself in booze to reinforce his decisions and drown out the guilt. His father was a WWII veteran, fought for his country and for his family. I would just LOVE to step up and look in the face of John Boehner and ask him if his WWII veteran father would be proud of the fact that his son is selling out the USA to the left, so that he can go along to get along, and still get his..that, in fact, John is destroying all that his Dad fought for? How does it feel, John, to be a traitor...now go take a bath in some booze..’cause you can't handle the truth.

Is the scientific term Coelenterata? Learned that in the tenth grade so long ago, but did not then know this describes politicians too. It explains how Richard Nixon tried to court liberals and then wondered why he lost in 1960.
