Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a telegram on Thursday to his old sparring partner, former U.S. President George W. Bush, wishing him a quick recovery from heart surgery.
It may have been coincidence that the Kremlin released details of the telegram a day after Barack Obama pulled out of a planned summit with Putin, but little is left to chance in Russian politics.
The warm words to the man who once said he looked Putin in the eye and got a "sense of his soul" highlighted how different the relationship is between the leaders in the Kremlin and the White House now.

You have to admit there is something classy about Putin unlike the lout sitting in the oval office.
Also, Putin (baptized as a baby - in secret - and who still carries on him, at all times, a cross his mother gave him on a trip to Israel) is bringing the church back to it's full prominence, saying that the church can save Mother Russia.
eAND Putin, last week, called upon the countries of the world to demand the rise in persecutions/killings of Christians be stopped, There hasn't been one peep from our dear leader on these persecutions, and killings - betcha he's yell bloody murder if a ‘Christian killed one of his Muzzie Brotherhood pals.
The Russians historically only understand one thing when it comes to world politics: “In-Your-Face” strength backed up by military might.
Putin’s had Obama’s number from the get go. He knows that Obama will not do one damn thing against anything he does. Putin knows a wuss when he sees one.

The real story is that Obama has not bothered last I checked to even send well wishes to Bush.
Ironically enough,we can trace at least some of those problems back to when Reagan agreed to amnesty without first insisting that the border be secured. He made the mistake of believing that Congress would actually follow through with that.

Also worth pointing out is that Obama has not yet sent any message to ‘W’ (according to Drudge Report headline) which makes this an even more pointed slap at Obama. The pResident continues to demonstrate that he is a great campaigner but almost a zero in humanity, selflessness and charity.
