McCoy put his arm over Bowers’ shoulder, and then they held hands. Bowers leaned to his partner of seven years and murmured the words to the Lesley Gore classic “Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.” They chatted, fingers interlocked.

In a statement released this week, Standard Parking apologized to the couple for “any disrespectful treatment they received in New Mexico.” The driver was suspended and the entire transportation staff will retake sensitivity training, said Standard Parking Executive Vice President Michael Wolf.
Bowers and McCoy say that apology was too little, too late.
“Some fluffy thing like sensitivity training, that’s really quite ambiguous,” McCoy said. “I want to have a better sense of assurance that this is going to be lasting corporate change that will not drift away and fade as this news story fades.”

The driver must be severely punished, He did not ask for AIDS test results, thereby endangering the health of other passengers. He was not wearing rubber gloves and a face mask, as required by EMTs handling known homosexuals.
I demand this careless insensitive fellow be put on all-expense paid furlough in Hawaii for six months with his entire family, while the "authorities" investigate, and then be returned to his post with a raise.
I suspect there was a lot more going on than fingers interlaced and chatting. I believe this was specifically designed to get a reaction so they could get their 15 minutes of fame and score one for the homosexual mafia. These guys probably got more and more “affectionate” until they got a reaction from the driver.
