Sen. Rand Paul is happy Sarah Palin is on his side.

“I love an endorsement by Sarah Palin, what’s not to love?” the Kentucky Republican said on CNN on Tuesday.

Over the weekend, the former Alaska governor and vice presidential nominee said she was on Paul’s side in his recent public spat with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

“I’m on team Rand. Rand Paul understands, he gets the whole notion of ‘Don’t tread on me, government,’ whereas Chris Christie is for big government and, you know, trying to go along to get along in so many respects,” Palin said on CNN.

I agree. A Palin/Paul ticket would be pretty amazing, too!

If I were Rand, I wouldn't exaggerate this. Sarah Palin chose Rand, and the opposition style of Paul/Cruz/Lee, over Krispy Kreme.

If he keeps it up, he may get another statement from Gov. Palin that clarifies she did NOT give him a 2016 POTUS endorsement.

Excellent post, and it reveals a so far, slight flaw in Paul, a slight but subtly consistent trait of a kind of over reach that raises an impression of an ego and self satisfied confidence that he is trying to restrain.

Yep, her endorsement is the fastest way to a reality show being rejected you could hope for... not sure what else it would be good for.

Bring on the folks with PDS...

Palin has NOT endorsed Paul for the presidency. Trying to sell her comment as such is a reach at best, and deception at worst.

If Palin runs, I’ll vote for her.

You guys are reading too much into this. Rand has not announced that he is running for president yet. Palin only endorsed his position.

She’ll only endorse his candidacy after he announces. As will everyone else on his Team ;)

Cruz is much more line with Palin’s type of conservatism than
Ron Paul Jr.
