Amazing how nobody ever, ever, EVER calls for a ‘softer brand of liberalism.’

Once again the Ed Gillespie ‘tell the base to go to hell’ types wave a red flag in our faces. This time if they mess with the bull they’re gonna get the damn horns.

Kasich is 10 years younger than Thompson. Running in 2016, he’d be 2 years younger than Fred was in 2008 (64).

That “squish” brand is why we keep losing the Presidency over and over.

as a Texan, I voted for Ted, but he is not ready. I’d like to see some folks with some staying power and more middle class values...Sarah would do, but she won’t run. Maybe some old hand will get the message “perot” style and make the middle class of America the target audience for the Republicans.

PPP puts Kasich 5th among national GOP contenders in Ohio

Jim Provance of the Blade’s Columbus Bureau reports on new poll out by Public Policy Polling:

COLUMBUS—Gov. John Kasich places fifth among hypothetical Republican presidential contenders among registered voters in his own state, a poll released Friday reveals. The poll by Public Policy Polling has the first-term governor, at 8 percent support, trailing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Kentucky Congressman Rand Paul, tied at 17 percent; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, at 10 percent, and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, at 9 percent, among GOP voters. - See more at:

Kasich has proven that he will campaign on an issue one way and govern the exact opposite (AKA lying), so he definitely has the credentials.
