AL SHARTPON: Some of us have battered race syndrome. We've developed, so many of us, a loser's complex. It's almost like the battered syndrome when people battered by their mate, they just automatically get ready for being battered, never occurring to them that they are full human beings and shouldn't be submitting and subjecting themselves to that. But once you create the mentality that you supposed to tolerate a whipping, a beating, abuse, that you don't even complain about it or report it 'cause you think you deserve it. Well, some of us have battered race syndrome. We can't win, ain't gonna win, that ain't gonna work, nothing's gonna work, duh duh duh, because we have battered race syndrome. We've beaten ourself into defeatism. So they don't have to beat us, we beat ourselves with our own battered syndrome of we can't win. I don't know what marching gonna do. Well then, why's everybody else marching and getting their stuff through? Because they know if they go out there and raise the temperature somebody gonna have to deal with them, but you don't think you qualify for that 'cause they beat you down. Well, those that don't have that syndrome, meet me in Washington Aug. 24 (to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom) and let's do what's gotta be done.

if Jesse Jackson Jr can prove he has this will he get an even bigger disability payment?
Come on, Al... now you’re just making stuff up.
Al (cockroach) Sharpton just broke my irony meter.
The cure is to keep mouth tightly shut.
Yes, we do, Al, so stop the battering!
Hmmmm and what about the physically battered whites who are being beaten, tortured and murdered by blacks? What about those Al?
Dull Tounge Sharpton is actually correct, just not inthe right way he expected...
Or in his case, Buttered Race Syndrome.................
I certainly have battered race syndrome. I wish all the Black, race-baiting haters would cease and desist...
WTF ? ! ? !
--------
This part of Al's quote raises a couple questions...
1) Who's beating black people? It seems like most government programs give black people an advantage in an attempt to uplift them. In terms of actual physical beatings, it certainly seems like black people are beating other people more than the other way around.
2) Who are these other groups getting their stuff through by marching? It certainly seems like black interest groups do more protesting and marching than other groups, and it certainly seems like politicians are more willing to cave to black interest groups out of fear that not doing so would seem racist.
Does it make you guys kind of OVERreact to every joke (and rodeo clown) and to lash out even when nobody has done a thing, just ‘cuz you’re feeling that Victim Mentality? Makes everyone else a Perp?
Gee, couldn’t have said it better myself, Rev.
Let just see what kind of syndrome. you have when we cut off the food stamps and moneys that those lazy baby macines get..That will also put a hole in your pocket you racist moron.
Someone needs to tell him he misspelled “face”.
Lets just see what kind of syndrome. you have when we cut off the food stamps and moneys that those lazy baby macines get and start giving it to the elderly so they don’t have to worry where their next meal is coming from....That will also put a hole in your pocket you racist moron.
Actually he is correct. It is because he knows what he is talking about. He and is buddies practice this syndrome on all his fellow blacks every day. They manage to discourage them from schooling, and to blame everyone else for their problems. Is not that the perfect example of what Al is talking about??????
Of course Al understands the meaning, since he invented it.
Que the BRS affliction. Government to pay benefits.
