At first I didn’t see that it was Al who was saying this “Some of us have battered race syndrome”. I said to myself, Yeah, that’s a good way to put how I (a crazy a$$ cracker, white guy) am feeling these days. I have been battered by race at every turn. Now even clowns are seen as being racist. There is no question that I am more racially biased now (since Obama) than I was before. Normally I don’t care about race. BUT, now I am so SICK of having race thrown in my face about EVERYTHING!
Would I be concerned if two Black men in business suits were coming toward me on the street? Absolutely NOT!
Would I be concerned if two Black men with their pants on the ground, ball cap on backwards, gold grills, all kinds of bling, speaking some language that I don’t understand even though the words are in English, were coming toward me on the street? YES!
