Border security" is a bogus holdup for immigration reform. Let us prevent this worthy legislation from becoming a giant rip-off benefitting the military-intelligence industry. Millions of people in this country have paid a deplorable price for surreptitious border passage. So-called "coyotes" have extracted up to $10,000 per person per trip; yet these victims have been subjected to mass murders, tortures, locked vans abandoned in deserts, kidnappings and rape. Why does anyone assume that coyotes act independently of the heavily armed cartels in their nearly sovereign territories?One proposed immigration strategy suggests we should punish the victims by imposing a bureaucratic maze that demeans low-wage earners in their quest for a path to citizenship (likely to result in denying ultimate citizenship to about half of the 11 million). Already these "America seekers" have historical reasons to doubt the decency of our immigration laws.

I am starting to notice in many illegal immigration debates,so many times to see.......younger, family-oriented, procreative, hard-working, Christian illegal immigrants..Are we in America having a shortage of young kids who in time will be younger, family-oriented, procreative, hard-working, Christian Americans ? How many illegals are claiming to be hard-working, Christians at the same are using untrue fake or stolen documents ? Driving cars without licenses/insurance..yet they are , family-oriented, procreative, hard-working, Christian illegal immigrants.
What do illegals expect when they hire high risk Mexixan drug cartels to act as their travel agency and relocate the illegals into America cites across the nation ? They get what they paid for.
Why not “Don’t give us your poor, tired excuses; enforce the law now”?
I’m not that bright anymore. Between the dementia and alzheimers kicking in, did I read correctly that the illegal aliens should be granted amnesty and then citizenship because they might have been mistreated by the people who helped get them into this country illegally?
In an effort to overcome this injustice, may I suggest that these illegal aliens should be treated fairly and humanely on their trip back to their home country.

I love it when some far from the border area decides what amount of immigration reform we need. How about this, when we have “reform”, which is a euphanism for the importation of more problems and social ills, we immediately transport the newly arrived into any state whose capitol is north of say 38 degrees North lattitude and with a democrat governor (sorry cal).

Larson’s article is a crap load of ideological idyllic bullshit of the highest order. His main first presented concern is the amount of money Mexicans are forced to pay Coyotes to get here. He intersperses that with an equal pantload of gobblygook stuff about we need honest Christians, blah blah blah. He then ‘backs’ that up with an overly broad lie (irresponsibly citing a CBO study hamstrung by Democrat ordered precepts) to say these illegals are worth far more in taxes than what they cost.

The uneducated, illiterate (often in their own tongue), illegal invaders cost vastly more than we’ll ever recover.
They refuse to assimilate; they bring heretofore extinct diseases and a few that are near impossible to treat, crime (drunkenness, rape, robbery, murder)often several times over for a lot of them; they pay little in taxes (each who has a W-2 job (fraudulently) claims the maximum number of exemptions that the bite on their check is NIL - and they never file; they INUNDATE our schools with their little anchor babies requiring working taxpaying Americans to ‘teach’ them in their own frigging language; they breed citizen malcontents and Reconquistadors by the millions; and they vote Democrat - even when they are not allowed to.
In short, these Mexicans and other world Hispanics (the largest by far invaders) are a national blight on this country. If they stay and are allowed to become legal, they will destroy this country completely. They aren’t Christian, they are here to steal everything we have, and Democrats and RINOS are hell-bent on artificially changing our ‘melting pot’ history into one of abject devastation.
This statement fails the common sense sanity check. Border security was promised in 1986. The people simply want that promise by our lawmakers to be kept. We did not forget. The reason we have 20 million more illegal aliens in this country is because that promise to secure our borders was NOT kept.
Secure our borders as promised in 1986, please! An orderly, fair, and compassionate immigration reform will follow. Plug the leak before you repair the ship of state.

It takes a lot of nerve to refuse to secure the border, and then use that as proof that we need to open the border.
And it takes a lot of nerve to tell generations of Americans that the world is overpopulated, and then when they cut their birth rate tell them we have to bring in illegals because we have a labor shortage.
And it takes a lot of nerve to say we have a labor shortage and have to legalize 20 million illegals while unemployment is at a historic high and almost every family in America has family members out of work.
Secure the border. Enforce the law. Let the chips fall.
