They are hard wired to love 0bama. It is something I have never seen before. It would not matter what he inflicts upon them, there’s just no reasoning with them. They vote as selfish children, interested only in receiving what is promised to them. And when whatever is promised to them is not delivered, they don’t seem to mind. There’s always another excuse...”he needs more time”...”it is foolish to expect such a magnificent program to be rolled out without any glitches”...”if only the Republicans wouldn’t resist him at every turn”. And on and on and on. I just don’t get it.
Dude your tag line is incredible. It is 100% truth.
The hecklers in this crowd were the seniors in the back - three or four. Their first words were “what about us, what about seniors?” Then mumblings “when you have nothing.” and so on. All through the Congressman’s statement.
When he was midway trying to explain the inanity of messing around with yearly out of pocket maximums again we hear “.....we have nothing....”
These seniors wanted to hear the magic words “...at little or no cost to you...” Just like that frigging Hoveround advertisement that bilks Medicare/Medicaid out of billions.
The Congressman? I don’t know much about him...couldn’t hear much from what he said in full enough context to understand, but I’ll tell you this. If he was there trying to explain to his constituency why he voted to defund Obama care, then I have no quarrel with him. I am left from this viewing with only one conclusion: a very many self-absorbed, selfish seniors there complaining why they can’t get something for free. I am a senior and collect SS and I have insurance that I pay for through my company’s retirement and I would be ashamed to sit in the midst of these people and be identified with them.
While many in this country say healthcare is a right, I would counter that bearing arms is a right, too. One that is enumerated in the Bill of Rights unlike the healthcare they are trying to elevate to a right. Regardless, IF healthcare IS a right, it does not automatically mean it should be funded by the government. I can’t recall ANY of the weapons that I own having EVER been given to me by the government for my ‘right’ to bear arms.
Very well said.
If the RINOs had any brains, they'd realize that they can't buy love, regardless of what they do. SO THEY MIGHT AS WELL DO THE RIGHT THING!
Yes, I am shouting.
