According to you, someone born outside of America to a service member shouldn’t be eligible for president.

Answer my question. How does the exception for servicemembers apply to Cruz, who’s father never served and was not an American citizen when Cruz was born?

Neither of the parents of Ted Cruz were in the US service when Ted was born in Canada..

When we were serving overseas it was the norm to try to return to the US for the births of children so that they would not have dual citizenship and so that they would be NBC

one of the first things I was told when I arrived was to not have any children outside the US..

this was 1974...
