This is the most corrupt and lawless Admin in the history of our once great country. And NO ONE will do anything about it!

The term “data collection” at the NSA is used only when...

1. The data undergoes analysis

AND ALSO

2. The data is **NOT** stored

Think that over —how often is data deemed important enough to merit analysis but NOT storage? I’d say damned near NEVER.

So be that definition they can TRUTHFULLY state they are COLLECTING very little data from Americans (while scooping up everything).

This is just current reach. They have capacity right now for 100 years at the current levels of data worldwide.

Cut the 15 intermediate leaks and let it be known that the NSA is taping all communications and capturing all the content in addition to metadata. When they get caught in this lie they will say that they captured and stored it but didn’t look at it unless authorized. This is from the incompetents that allowed a low level employee to walk out the door with everything. Now consider, David Axexrod, Valerie Jarrett, or any of the other Progressive political pond scum having access to any of this information .... why, you could probably turn John Roberts, Dufus McCain or Nancy Graham.

America is now under a dictator King Obama. And we have nothing to stop this destruct of America. Even the Republicans are totally ineffective and worthless.

We know that the enemy has worked hard not to use electronic communications, relying instead on mules to carry information.

Now that this is public, why collect data that isn’t related to terrorism since the terrorists are not using electronic communications?

Furthermore, IIRC they only need 4 metadata points (or is it 5) to identify you specifically and individually. Could this information be abused? Take a look at history, recent history specifically and see that government lies, obfuscates and is by its very nature political.

The NSA “scandals” are a distraction. NSA had authorization to do many of the things we are upset about.

The bigger more important issues are the fact that US government agencies were used to influence the outcome of elections. Presidential elections.

And where did the data in Obama’s Civitas database come from? IRS, Census, HHS, Homeland Security, NSA?

The National Security Agency—which possesses only limited legal authority to spy on U.S. citizens—has built a surveillance network that covers more Americans' Internet communications than officials have publicly disclosed

The government lied to us? I am shcoked, shocked!

"retains the written content of emails sent between citizens within the U.S."

The government is reading your mail.

If your email was a stamped mailed letter, the NSA would be in prison.

The NSA is only a scintilla of a technicality away from being felonious.
