Thank goodness. Now those who would rob or commit mayhem with a weapon will see the sign and look for somewhere else to commit mayhem.

So... the villiage is allowed to tell you who you can do business with?

I suppose they intend to search everybody or just those that look like they might carry. What idiots.

Village officials required the restaurant apply for a special permit for its proposed 200 arcade game machines something not required by the state or county and are making that license contingent on various factors. Village officials recently added one more item to the list: Anyone with a concealed carry weapon should not be allowed in.
Some here wonder why I would say licenses are the root of tyranny.

Wonderful! A minimum of FOUR levels of bureaucracy: federal, state, county, and now, to further erode your rights, the "Village".
Remember:
It may take a village to raise a child, but it takes a tank to raze a village.

Why, in Heaven’s name, do people continue making laws and regulations that only honest people will follow anyway? Incomprehensible.

Chuck E. Cheese for adults.
A room full of 20-40yo’s acting like 6yo’s.
Now there’s a place I can’t wait to visit.

First off, I used to live in Vernon Hills and I defy anyone to find a hill of any sort in Vernon Hills. A parking lot curb is the greatest elevation change one can find.
It is a mystery to me how the local government can rule on how a business’ customers exercise their state recognized rights.
