Defiant Knox sheriff to stack illegal immigrants 'like cordwood' in jail

KNOXVILLE — Knox County Sheriff Jimmy “J.J.” Jones on Wednesday denounced “an inept administration” that has declined his proposal to train local officers on enforcing federal immigration laws.

“An inept administration is clearing the way for law breaking illegal immigrants to continue to thrive in our community and ultimately be allowed to reside in the United States.

“I will continue to enforce these federal immigration violations with or without the help of U.S Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE),” Jones said.

“If need be, I will stack these violators like cordwood in the Knox County Jail until the appropriate federal agency responds.”

Too bad the South can't secede again. We could have a great southern USA. Might even let in some of the western states if they promise to recognize our Confederate currency.

If 2000 other sheriffs would follow his and Sheriff Joes lead the federal governments head would explode.

The initiative is intended to catch and deport felony offenders who are illegally in the U.S. Yet it has garnered national attention for the number of undocumented immigrants ensnared for minor offenses such as driving without a license. The effect, critics contend, separates families and furthers immigrant communities’ distrust of police.

“It completely destroys the relationship between the immigrant communities and law enforcement,” said Alejandro Guizar, spokesman for Comite Popular de Knoxville.

Driving without a license /insurance is no causal matter. How about Alejandro Guizar, spokesman for Comite Popular de Knoxville explain to the victims of accidents how his organization will see to it that victims of fatal accidents can look forward to his organization..to pay for repairs to the cars or replacement cars for the victims of illegals driving without licenses/insurane and how his organization will ensure all current and future medical bills victims can count on his organization to pay any outstanding debts from these so minor offenses such as driving without a license. How many victims now have separated families and distrust of police to enforce the law equally. This leaves Americans devastated they cannot pay their medical bills costing thousands of dollars and future medical bills, they cannot trust the police to hold illegals accountable and illegas are repeat offenders for driving without licenses/insurance.
Alejandro Guizar, not at all concern about the welfare of legal citizens..

“Until he gets sued or the feds haul him off.”

What makes you think that the 500-lb fat federal slugs can “haul him off?”

I like his idea. I think every Tennessee Sheriff should do this. Knoxville had one illegal caught with massive amounts of drugs in the same area within about two weeks time. The very idea that laws apply to us but not to illegals says there is a very huge problem. If they rob, steal, injure, get busted etc they simply skip town to the next state with a new stolen identity. No laws apply to them not even traffic light cameras of which I bet about half of the ones they can not locate owner are illegals.

In places like Oak Ridge they drive nice shinny new SUV's or trucks. How are they getting loans? Go to any Western Union and you'll see them lined up to wire cash out of country.

They especially make it harder on low income working class and other low income citizens as they even compete for needed clothing etc at Thrift Stores.

I noticed also per usual Knox News cut off the comments. KNS has shilled for illegals as long as I can remember. Most East Tennesseans do not want illegals here.
