“There are a few people I do respect in the GOP. Cruz, Palin, West, Lee...in that order as well, but these good men and women as well as we the base should go elsewhere I am thinking.”
I’d add Ken Cuccinelli and Rand Paul (on his good days) to the list as well.
“The GOP has emptied its tent and lit it on fire”
...and thrown stink bombs at the firefighters, and spat on the paramedics, and salted the earth besides.

LOL! Salted the earth they did indeed :D
I do not know what to make of Rand Paul. I like him, sort of, but cannot vote for him if he’s pushing this amnesty crap. That is a deal killer.
Cuccinelli I am not familiar with. If I am not mistaken he is from Virginia and running for governor against that scumbag mccaullif? Also, unless I’ve mistaken him for someone else, Mark Levin is very supportive of him which is about the best endorsement there is for me.

What happens if the GOP refuses to budge on the funding but still gets the blame from the media and the democrats?

That’s exactly what will happen either way. GOP may as well go down swinging.

That’s what I’m thinking.
They believe, though, that sleeping with the enemy is always the better option.

Im not even sure that Im going to bother to vote in 2014, and I have not missed an election since 1992.
I can see someone saying well if you dont then the dems will take over, to which I would say so what? They already have.
I'll vote for the most conservative candidates, which means I won't be voting for too many Republicans. Republicans like to compromise far too often, and compromise these days means giving the Democrats what they want.

This is all John Boehners doing. And, like his debt ceiling deal, it will probably blow up in his face. Ms. Boehner has horrible political instincts, but perhaps he/she is right about this.
We conservatives ARE gaining momentum, and we happen to prefer something other than weakness, lassitude and outright cowardice from our alleged "representatives" [sic].
If Ms. Boehner wants a topic to worry over, "primary elections" just might be it.

Democrats are Law-Less because Republicans are Ball-Less....maybe I should break this down...
Obama is Law-Less because McConnell and Boehner are Ball-Less!!
