The white conservative media thinks it's found its "Trayvon Martin in reverse, only worse." Are you kidding me?
The white conservative media believes it has its own Trayvon Martin in the case of Chris Lane, an Australian baseball player who was killed in Oklahoma, where he had been studying, by three black teenagers in an apparently random act of violence (note: there’s actually some question as to the race of one of the three teens, the driver, who faces lesser charges).
Rush Limbaugh called it “Trayvon Martin in reverse, only worse.” The Drudge Report, where black-on-white crime always gets top billing, has been prominently featuring news about the case for several days. Former Tea Party congressman Allen West weighed in, tweeting, “3 black teens shoot white jogger. Who will POTUS identify w/this time?”
Jesse Jackson tried to extend an olive branch, tweeting that he was “Praying for the family of Chris Lane.” But armed with that, Fox News is now demanding that President Obama weigh in, just as he did for Martin’s case. “I thought it was at least good of Jesse Jackson to step up,” Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade said today. “I haven’t heard anything from Al Sharpton [or the White House],” he added. His colleagues agreed.
(For what it’s worth, White House spokesperson Josh Earnest told reporters yesterday that he wasn’t familiar with the case.)
As the right sees it, the president’s silence confirms the narrative shared by everyone from Glenn Beck to Allen West to Maine Gov. Paul LePage to Sean Hannity — that Obama is racist against white people, and that the media is, too, or at least duped into doing the bidding of allegedly racist black leaders like Sharpton, or something.....

They are right. Chris Lane didn’t attack and try to kill the guys who shot him.
No, Lane is not Martin.
Unlike Martin, Lane was minding his own business when he was hunted down and killed for entertainment value.
Martin was committing aggravated assault and attempted murder when he was shot.

Since this took place in OK, and it is a conservative state, this is going to be an open and shut case.

I saw in a recent post that the shooter was tweeting obscene things about white people after the Zimmerman verdict.
If Chris Lane had been beating the sh*t out of the crip gang-banger wannabee - and the guy had shot him to save his life - THEN it would be similar. Chris Lane was murdered by a lowlife sociopath loser. Travon died because he was attempting to murder a man who had been an alter boy... (really)...

As best I can tell, Chris Lane didn’t attack these black yutes, as Trayvon attacked George. He was minding his own business, and the the black yutes killed him for being white. There is no real similarity to he justified killing of Trayvon. It is very much like David Santucci’s murder by three black yutes, who also wanted to kill a white boy. The only connection Trayvon has to any of this is that he provides an excuse for more black on white violence, and liberals be damned for not seeing it.
It’s true the Chris Lane murder is in no way similar to the Trayvon Martin shooting. Chris Lane was 1,000% innocent and did nothing in anyone’s wildest imagination to contribute to the events that led to his being murdered in cold blood.
Trayvon Martin was a thug in training with predictable attitudes (verified by Rachael Jeantel) that led him to commit one stupid, aggressive move after another that resulted in his being shot and killed in an act of justifiable self-defense.
It’s amazing how many are actually bigoted and biased enough to act as if Trayvon was in any way an innocent victim. He wasn’t, and he created the situation that led to his being shot.
Seitz-Wald is just concerned with deflecting what he sees as a simplistic identification by his opponents.
He's not really interested in seriously examining either case, just playing politics, so he misses a lot and doesn't do any better than those he criticizes.
Question #1...were any of the three punks responsible for the Aussie’s murder found to have a bloody nose or head...or were heard to be calling for help in the moments before the death?

I am beginning to sense panic. The MSM tried to ignore the Lane story, but the blogosphere has picked it up and are running with it to the point where it is about to go viral.
This has the potential to threaten the narrative they have worked so assiduously to build post Zimmerman. They are going to work even harder now to deflect, stall, change the subject, and attack anyone who writes about this.
