Maybe this is how it is once you get to Congress. They start indoctrinating new members with the “we’re all great friends no matter what they political fight” mantra and that’s how they justify what they do, are able to look the other way, steal from the American people, etc.

Very obvious what is going on here .... he's tossing a small piece of red meat to the 'base', trying to appease them. The meat is about the size of a dime and rancid, but nevermind ... the fact that he prefaces anything with "Obama is a personal friend" nullifies anything after that statement. If he wants to talk 'impeachment', he also needs to hold up the bill of particulars at the same time, instead he says 'nearing' grounds .... he's an Obama enabler. Coburn should have gotten a ride out of that meeting on a rail ... a few tar and feathers wouldn't have been a bad idea for the lying wuss, either.
I just love these Lucy and football threads. Obama is here at least till 2016 and maybe longer if he deems it. There will be no successful impeachment attempts. Jeez I still see birther threads on FR, talk about not accepting reality. Life is not fair, truth does not win out here on earth all the time, evil does sometimes prevail here. Its mitigating and subverting Obama, not these stupid hopes that the same appartus that installed him will by some miracle depose him. There is no heaven on earth, no politician, philosophy, slogan or organization will save you. Our republic is in declne and is going to perish, maybe not today or in 10 years but we are going on the ashbin of history. We have abondoned G*d and well we are on our own.

Feel free. I’m criticizing conduct, not a person, here. I know that LLS actually does have the requisite spiritual background to grasp what I’m saying. If I was speaking to someone so wrapped up that they were taking everything personally, I might do it differently (but not take a different view).
Our enemies, per the bible, are not people, they are devils and demons. If you’re spiritually home you’ll understand this. We attempt to the end to make common cause (yup, in spite of its liberal sound) with people against these devils and demons. Acting by all good means to move people, who by persistent engagement with evil are a menace, out of their positions is a second tack taken when the first fails. It looks like Coburn is on the verge of this.
It’s droll only if the gospel itself is droll. I’ve explained this many times in here.

I wish it to you too... hey dude we are all needing to be gunning for the devil if we want to see something happen here that is not only good, but great. The devil is the energy behind all the evil we see. Christ’s power is manifested not just as a raw rebuke of Satan but also as a salvation plan. They go hand in hand. The love from heaven pushes aside the hatred from hell. Our problem here isn’t that God is weak. It’s that our worship is weak. Worship and exalt God again with the resources we have been given by God and watch this place take off spiritually towards heaven like a rocket. But it isn’t rocket science. Bulldozing through the thickets of demons could take years, decades. But the result is so, so worth it. We regain a slice of heaven that way.
I do not “smile as I push liberals down the stairs.” I grin from ear to ear as I do that to Satan and his demons. We have a misfocused battle here, folks.

With Obama, that means Coburn is on his knees on the Oval Office rug or kneeling on a prayer rug towards Mecca. Either is appalling.
If even in hypocrisy Barack Obama is saying amen to prayers to the actual Jesus Christ for genuinely good things and for His exaltation... that’s going to get things moving away from the wrong direction. Consider maybe that without this, Barack Obama might have been even WORSE.
