The court held that "a commercial photography business that offers its services to the public, thereby increasing its visibility to potential clients" is bound by the New Mexico Human Rights Act "and must serve same-sex couples on the same basis that it serves opposite-sex couples."

Solution: “Yes, this photography studio would be happy to serve you... er, unfortunately, none of the photographers we have on staff want to work for you, and there’s a law in this state that says we are not permitted to compel them to do so.”

Easy solution, take really crappy pictures and then sue when they refuse to pay.

Yes, but word might get out to the general public that the photographer stinks at taking pictures, and the business could end up going under completely.
