"...His birth certificate, which means so much to them, is nothing to Liam but a piece of paper to try to snatch from their hands and stick in his mouth. Teething, after all, makes a baby single-minded.

On another topic....think about it. This state virtually picks who the frontrunners for the GOP nomination will be.

A good reason for the GOP to have all their primaries on the same day with the counts not being announced until the next so as to not influence each other. Might even save money on the campaigning.

Which is another reason to have one nationwide (or several large) primary and let the chips fall where they may. I hate it that tow backwater states like NH and Iowa have so much weight.

“Two Parents” vs “Mother and Father” My grandfather would understand none of today’s society..

Neither would mine. But he was like, old, and, you know, white, and he worked almost his whole life and was married to the same woman for 63 years...gross. That means he was probably a crypto-Nazi homophobe enjoying white privilege.

Are women who put up their babies for adoption still allowed to specify that the child go to a married heterosexual couple?

I wonder if the sperm donor, if known, could be on the hook for child support, should the ‘breadwinner’ exit the picture.
