There is an element of mental disease in many homosexuals, but it is not something they were born with. It was caused by the mental and emotional trauma of being molested. Telling someone struggling with the aftereffects of being molested that they were born that way and there is nothing that can be done to help them is sick.
The griefs brought on by this current pageant of increasing wickedness are God’s signal to us: “Miss Me yet?”
Now when we want God back, we have to be willing to think outside the world’s box. Because God cuts across all that stuff. We’re not here to restore “Revolutionary era morality.” We’re here to confess that we are sinners needing salvation, be abundantly pardoned and receive the salvation promise, and then to embrace God’s mighty love and righteousness and ask it back into our own miserably failing lives. Over and over in a constant washing until we finally arrive at the gates of heaven.
Those who were molested and then sinned in a similar manner have been faced with a temptation that they yielded to. If they were without sin they wouldn’t have yielded. Christ was the proof-of-concept of that if I may speak in those terms. However, God has no grudge against them for having yielded. God is ready to instantly forgive. God just wants them to understand the need to get straight again with Him and then He will bless. God may sound cruel here but in the end it is a kindness.
