Full title: The tiny Colorado town where leaders want to sell permits to 'hunt' unmanned drones as a statement against government spying

I'm tempted to buy a goose gun.

When the left gets done with their tv mini-series, it will portray tea party members wearing necklaces made of guidance chips.

The question is, why would the Feds have a need to fly drones over Deer Trail, Colorado in the first place? Don’t fly there, and you won’t be shot at. Sound simple enough to me.

If they stamp their feet and bluster about it, it shows that the intend to use them overhead. Blast away.

Federal aviation officials have warned that anyone who actually fires on a drone could face the same charges as anyone shooting at an airplane.

I doubt it. A drone is just property.

For the record, I'm generally opposed to the whole idea of 'permits' issued by government...but I'll take a win where I can get it :)

I live in a tiny Colorado town at an elevation of 7,700 feet. Can drones operate at those kinds of altitudes?

Cauz, target practice.
