The Food Stamp Program, administered by the U.S. Department of > Agriculture, is proud to be distributing this year the greatest amount > of free Meals and Food Stamps ever, to 46 million people. > > Meanwhile, the National Park Service, administered by the U.S. > Department of the Interior, asks us "Please Do Not Feed the Animals." > Their stated reason for the policy is because "The animals will grow > dependent on handouts and will not learn to take care of themselves." >
A double minded person is unstable in all their ways.
but if they could figure out how to sneak the bears in to vote for them, they’d be ever so happy to give the bears food stamps, too
One of my second sons is back from Afghanistan. Working in a tire shop. They just had their fourth child. He makes $8 an hour.
Bears don't trade their food stamps for drugs.
This is article makes a really good point
But hey what about feeding the Sasquatch? Can she still have her vacations?
I lost my magic decoder ring years ago. A little help here?
Public school teachers and federally funded regulators are eating their political friends again. ;-) When they’re done with getting a little more than one tenth of the yearly deficit from the food stamp recipients, they’ll go after pensioners.
I’m not in any of the aforementioned groups, by the way. Just having some popcorn and enjoying the show.
There is absolutely no logic whatever behind the idea of not feeding the animals other than controlling the American public on “their property”. Yellowstone, as far as the animals are concerned, is closed six months of the year. Do I carry peanuts to feed the chipmunks on my snowmobile ride, that is if the park doesn’t exceed the “allowable” number for the day, and while we are talking about our premier showcase park let me once again bash the idiotic policy of hands off let nature take its course. Want to see what the mountain pine beetle can do to a forest? Just take a drive through the east entrance to Yellowstone. A waste land of dead trees where nature truly has taken over. Man was given dominion over this earth from the very beginning for very good reasons and clueless government and policy chose to deny the obvious.
Lets not forget the 88 fire which was fought only when it became obvious that the entire park was going to go up in smoke if man didn’t poop or get off the pot. Want to observe elk by the thousands, the park was a prime spot for just such observation until reintroduction of the species that choose elk for breakfast, lunch, dinner, fun, sport, general random harassment, and other herd decimating activity. My opinion after observing the devastation soon after, was my my what a pretty sight/s/s/s/s/s/s. On further reflection I think there was enough wood burned to build a log home of mansion proportions for at least everyone that lived in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana those lucky enough to border what should be our most beautiful pristine, and properly cared for property in the United States of America.
Pretty sure he isn’t making enough to pay for it all.
If only humans did not exist, mother earth would be a utopia for all the wild animals and plants. Just think, no fires, no insects, no animals eating another. A perfect world.

I think we should build nice little cabins for the bears, too. Refrigerators stocked with all kinds of goodies. Golf cart so they can get around easier.

don’t forget Obama phoams and fool stamps for the bears.
Amen.
Thanks for your service. Not all can wear the CIB.
NKP 68-69 That would be Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Base home of the piston engine propeller Air Force. We didn’t exist and where we flew no one knew.
and yes, apparently we both suffer from old.
Truer words, my FRiend! ;-)
