Because FR doesn’t want you to know that a double-standard exists when the media reports racially-charged crime. The article (that I saw) was the first time anyone had posted anything regarding this controversial subject. Ever.
On a serious note, the stuff from Colin Flaherty has been quite good. He has demonstrated much courage in covering black on white crime stories that the main stream press has walked away from.
I sent Colin an email re: this event. Hopefully he will check into it.

I don't know anyone here who is racist. But I know many who don't want the PC conditions set out of the media to tell us what we can and cannot say.
I grew up with folks of other races...my mother founded the local Head Start...and we had angry white people at the front door telling us not to...and she did anyway.
If you want us to seek another venue for this stuff...we will of course.
But the truth is still the Truth.
I believe in you and know you are devoted to disseminating the truth.
