As talk and rumors of an impending Western attack against Syria mount, a top Syrian official said Monday that if attacked, his country would react – against Israel.
Speaking to an Arabic-language radio station operated by the United States, Syria's Deputy Information Minister Halaf Al-Maftah said that Israel would face not only Syria in the event that the US, Britain and France attempted to unseat Bashar al-Assad. A coalition consisting of Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria would respond to any attack against Assad with a response against Israel. In addition, terrorist groups in Syria and Lebanon would attack Israel with full force.

I don’t think obama has the stomach to go up against Russia. I’m not sure we have the capability either. Some here may not agree with that and I respect that. It’s open to debate, surely. Long ago I learned in history class that the more wars you fight, the more everybody knows your tactics and capabilities and then, are able to develop effective countermeasures or technology to use against you. We have been doing a lot of fighting these last 15 - 20 years. And Russia, although hobbled at one time, but recovering, could be the country with the technology. They’re still the bear.

If I understand the chapter correctly both sides will receive serious damage and devastation. Damascus will be in ruins and cease to exist, while Israel will be pushed to the brink of extinction, which will turn the Jews still alive, back to Yahweh. All this leads to the rise of Anti Christ to bring peace to the region. Definitely interesting times to be alive.
