Terry McAuliffe is coming to Charlottesville this Saturday to speak to supporters like you and kick-off a canvass.

He's hoping you'll come out to meet him, and then stick around to talk to your neighbors about pledging to vote.

Here's why we need you: There's a whole segment of Virginia voters who will absolutely vote for Terry in November — if they make it to the polls. Getting them to pledge now (and then reminding them of that pledge later), is a key part of our strategy to win this election.

Terry's coming out on Saturday because we can't wait any longer to reach voters in your area. Will you join him and ask your neighbors to pledge to vote?

I can't make it this weekend, but I'd like to volunteer another time

In an off-year election like this one, lots of voters need an extra nudge to remember to turn out on Election Day.

So when you ask someone to commit to vote this weekend, they'll fill out a pledge card and we'll mail it back to them a few days before the election.

They'll remember meeting you, they'll remember making their commitment, and (studies show!) they'll be a whole lot more likely to find time to vote on Election Day.

With thousands of volunteers filling shifts between this weekend and November, those pledge cards really add up. Your cards plus all of those volunteers' cards will make up our margin of victory.
