As Americans prepare to mark the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech during the March on Washington, Rev. Jesse Jackson has decided now would be a good time to accuse the Tea Party of being just like the Confederacy.
“The Tea Party is the resurrection of the Confederacy, it’s the Fort Sumter Tea Party,” Jackson told (Politico), referring to conservative opposition to President Barack Obama.
Jackson said he is “absolutely” convinced that Republican opposition to Obama has more to do with race than it does with actually opposing White House policy.

Imagine the media's reaction to a conservative standing up and claiming that the Obama regime is the resurrection of King George's rule over us as colonies to be exploited for personal gain (which is closer to the truth than ol' Action Jackson's claim!).
The Confederacy was run by southern Democrats. Jackson is just reinforcing the Democrats’ big lie - that the Tea Party is racist. Jackson needs his devils to scare his black constituency. If he had no racist enemies, he’d have nothing to talk about and no reason for being.
If blacks want to seek reparations, they should go first to the Democrats, who kept them down for 130 years.
While he’s making illogical analogies to the Civil War, our historic, Nobel Peace Prize winning Pres_ent is fixing to touch of World War III in the Middle East. Something is VERY wrong here, on many levels....
Why do they still call him”Reverend” and what did DemRATs offer that he couldn’t get from God?
