If you’re not posting anything the authorities might disapprove of, then you have nothing to worry about.

If I were old, would I be up at this late hour? I’m as good as NEW!

Hmph.. I hadn’t seen that chart recently. interesting to note the push to 23-24%. also interesting to see how they’ve been systematically lying about the trend since about the time hussein took office

i believe unemployment during the great depression maxed around 30%.

I’m also wondering how that factors into the plans preparing for oct 1st and what thos plans are preparing for

Heinlein was my favorite author when I was in the 5th and 6th grades. (Probably warped me forever...)

Me too. A friend pointed me to the first book, I hoovered the rest. I wonder who else in our generation has touched so many... I know he helped shape my world view. I hear this from so many people, and yet he only wrote science fiction.

I’ve said many times, that the correct response to this invasive eavesdropping is to be more overt in our communications - not hiding out and silencing ourselves.

Withdrawing into a cocoon only invites more attacks, and emboldens the oppressor. Get louder and more strident if you want them to back off.

The key is resistance, not submission.

and there is now no private way, evidently, to collaborate.

Am I missing something here? Is snail mail also snooped? Communication always has private methods to be conducted.

Just the exterior. I read somewhere that every piece of mail is photographed.

The post Office photographs the front and back of every envelope. It's part of the sorting process.

They also retain the images for a month. That isn't part of the sorting process.

Nothing stopping them from saving those images forever, nothing stopping them from extracting metadata.

I seldom put a return address on an envelope, m'self...
