Israel calls up reservists over Syrian threat

Israel ordered a special call-up of reserve troops Wednesday as nervous citizens lined up at gas-mask distribution centers, preparing for possible hostilities with Syria.

With the U.S. threatening to attack Syria over its alleged use of chemical weapons, Israel fears that Syria may respond by attacking Israel, a close American ally.

I would agree with you but in reality 0 miscalculated situation in Egypt. Regarding Syria.. if you noticed, no country except US and UK want any military action. Even at this moment nothing is moving forward.0 is above his head and scared to take responsibility for the outcome of this mess. IRS, Libya, obamacare problems are children’s game compare to problems that he will face if regional war breaks out. Just imagine the chain reaction if Iran will get involved. I don’t want even to think about nukes.. Arabian peninsula.. oil fields on fire..

Thats because the political class of both nations, no matter what brand, is deeply invested in Saudi Oil.So is the Roman Catholic Church.The Royal family of the UK is so deep into Saudi pockets that they have to eat halal.

True. Currently this is local conflict within Syria that fairly localized. Let them kill each other but the moment West gets involved, muslims will have common enemy and it will spread around ME and may endanger entire region and indeed will affect oil supplies. In the case of Syria no one have a clear plan what to do next.
