Obama: My speech ‘won’t be as good’ as Dr. King’s
MSNBC ^ | August 28, 2013 | Morgan Whitaker

Posted on 08/28/2013 7:32:37 AM PDT by kevcol

“I think that Dr. King would be amazed in many ways about the progress that we’ve made,” he said.

“What he would also say, though, is that the March on Washington was about jobs and justice,” he added. “And that when it comes to the economy, when it comes to inequality, when it comes to wealth, when it comes to the challenges that inner cities experience, he would say that we have not made as much progress as the civil and social progress that we’ve made, and that it’s not enough just to have a black president.

From that essay by a white teacher...

Teacher: “What would happen if every white person were to disappear?

Black students: “We’d be screwed.”

It won’t be as good, for one simple reason:

Dr. King started from a moral basis, the basis that Mr. Obama abandoned long ago.

No morals, no true power.

No matter how many times you pay lip service to the truth.

Everyone at MSNBC just burst into tears. "No, no, don't say that, Dear Leader! Your speech will be twice as good as Dr. King's -- nay, a thousand times better than his! For you are The One!"

Updated for use by 0bama:

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and will bash in the heads of the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood. and get no approbation from the President or their community.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice EBT cards and bastard babies.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but and not by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers. and beat them to a pulp on school buses.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley politician shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low exactly the same height by law, the rough places will be made plain like Detroit, and the crooked places will be made straight like Chicago, and the glory of the Lord The One shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.

Sons Of Barack's!

Dear Pres,
Your failed attempt at humility does not nullify the truth of your assertion.

We can anticipate fairly certainly how the speech will go...

Good start Dr King, but we can do more.
We need to invest more money.
We need to give people more help.
We need to equalize more opportunities for the poor and the disenfranchised.
We need to invest more in education, especially for the poor.
We need to invest more in solid jobs with high wages.
We need to increase wages for the poor.

Bottom line, the speech will be about more more more socialism.

Of course Obqama’s speech won’t be as good as Dr.Kings.
Dr.King believed in what he was saying.

My guess is Obama will go heavy on that contrived Baptist-preacher inflection again today. No thanks.

The only thing to get me to watch would be a Hillary Clinton reprise: “I don’t feeeeeel no ways tiiiiiired. I come too faaaaaaaar....” Classic.

CSPAN 1 is showing it now. Obama to speak at 2:45 ET. Light rain now. They say the crowd is in the thousands. It looks like there may be a couple of thousands there.

Obama: My The speech written for me by my sock puppet handlers ‘won’t be as good’ as Dr. King’s.

As long as they put it on the teleprompter in letters big enough for me to read, I'll be ok.

Excerpts from Obama's speech:

"I ... me ... I ... I ... me .. me ... me ... me ... I ... me ... I ... I ... I ... me ..."

Let's not deceive anyone by taking components of his speech out of context. Here it is, once again, without redactions:

"I ah me and I but, I for me and me with me ah me but, I am me and I ah I but, I was me and ..."
