Hyon Song-wol, a singer, rumoured to be a former lover of the North Korean leader, is said to have been arrested on Aug 17 with 11 others for violating laws against pornography.

Kidding aside, this is exactly the type of behavior we’re slouching toward when no one holds the President accountable. Use of government apparatus to intimidate, harass, and persecute those deemed inconvenient to Dear Leader... sound familiar? We just haven’t gotten to the “firing squad” stage. Yet.

The original song title translates into "A Girl In The Saddle Of A Steed (준마처녀)," but "Excellent Horse-Like Lady" has served well in generating many views..
