The 20-year-old daughter of country star Alan Jackson has been charged with assault, underage drinking and resisting arrest. She is accused of striking a police officer and then invoking her father's name during a traffic stop in Nashville.

So “invoking her father’s name” is a crime?
Well, I don't know Mr Jackson, but I'll go out on a limb and guess that there were plenty of comments.
“Do you suspect that I am involved in criminal activity?”
“Do you suspect that I am a danger to you or your fellow officers?”
“Am I being detained?”
Other than that keep the mouth shut. Does anyone ever learn?

Sure sounds like a case of bad behavior, but I have a couple of questions.
1. How much time does one get for invoking their father's name?
2. Did she really strike the police officer, or is this another case of being insufficiently compliant?
I think she really got in trouble when she tried to Twreak the officer.... Miley style...
