Good mornin everybuddy!
I finally was able to listen to Jim late in the 8am hour. It sure sounded like he was reading FR! Our grandson didn't have a very good first day at school, LOL!
Wednesday our son and daughter in law went to the school and were given a pack of supplies and told to put them in their son's backpack. Sooo they did.
Yesterday I dropped them off and they had to go through a metal detector. No problem until a security guard held up a backpack and gruffly asked whose it was. Grandson said it was his and he and his parents were pulled aside and told there was a weapon in the backpack.
Turns out the school gave them a pair of safety scissors and told their son needed them for school so they put them in the backpack. That did not turn out well.
Meanwhile the boy lost his brand new Super Mario lunchbox. Oops. problems with the station. Back later.
The thugs disrupting a child’s funeral should be in jail!

LOL!! That’s funny about the scissors in the backpack! AND to lose his Super Mario Bros lunchbox! What a way to start the school year. I hope the rest of the year gets better. :-)

Could the Anonymous release be the reasoning (other than common sense) that Brittain and France said “nyet” to our Dear Leader? What scary as hell is the mention of the nerve gas killing the infidels in under a minute....and this comes to light at the end of August...w/9/11 coming up again.

Did you get your basement cleaned out?
Yeah, we got the water out and the muck out of the drain. The pipes are the old ceramic pipes and are broken, which lead to a cave-in. We still have more to do, but at least the water is going down. The smell is awful though. At least it’s confined to the basement and not coming up through the floor. And it’s a good thing the hot water heater and the gas heater are up on blocks!
I hope you didn’t have anything stored down there.

Our freezer is down there, but it’s up on a pallet and it’s not in the part of the basement that floods. We actually have three levels of basement. Odd setup, but we added an addition several years ago, and that area never floods either.
