An 82-year-old woman went home Thursday after spending two weeks first in the hospital, and then in rehab.
She was discharged hours after 18-year-old Michael Duku of the North Side was taken into custody on charges including robbery, assault and conspiracy.
Police say Duku and another man shoved the elderly woman to the sidewalk two weeks ago after she attended Sunday church services in Homestead. Duku ran off with her purse.

A 67- year-old grandmother was brutally raped inside of her apartment.
According to the grandmother, a black male wearing a navy blue do-rag and carrying a backpack knocked on her door, shoved her inside and attacked her, raping her multiple times.
The victim said while the man was sexually assaulting her he kept telling her, “I like old white women, I’ve been watching you.”
Funeral set for Omaha woman shot on way home
Andrea Kruger, 33, was returning home early Wednesday from her bartending shift at the Deja Vu Lounge near 178th and Pacific Streets.
Andrea L. Kruger had three children. “We had the best of both worlds,” said Michael-Ryan Kruger, her husband. “I worked during the day, she stayed home with the kids and worked three nights a week.”
She was found, shot multiple times, in the middle of 168th Street near Fort Street about 2:15 a.m., said Douglas County Sheriff Tim Dunning.
