Police are still trying to figure out why a black mob beat Richard Daughenbaugh to death at a popular downtown Des Moines fishing spot one week ago.
Daughenbaugh, a father of six who worked as a construction laborer, did not know his killers, say police. But at 1 a.m., he found himself exchanging words with members of a mob that numbered in the dozens.
The Des Moines Register picks up the narrative with a sterile account that understates the violence and ignores the race of the attackers:
The suspects allegedly beat Daughenbaugh using no weapons other than their own bodies while others in the group tried to stop anyone from helping, police said.
A woman fishing nearby tried to step in and stop the assault and was struck, police said. Her companion was attacked as he jumped in to defend her.
And when the woman tried to call 911, two women from the group allegedly grabbed her phone and threw it. She eventually retrieved it and called 911.

Eleven of the fifteen went to the hospital. A couple ran away when they saw how quickly the situation deteriorated. Except for having my shirt torn off in the fracas, I didn't have a mark on me. Well, I had some scraped-up knuckles, but that's to be expected.
The gang was rounded up by a combination of State and Local Police, hiding on the roof of the cabin owned by the "ringleader."
When we got to court two months later, six of the dumbasses were still in casts and bandages, two with cracked skulls, one with his arm broken in 3 places, and another with all the long-bones in his right hand having suffered compound fractures (that's right, four bones sticking right through the skin). Another was on crutches. Apparently, knees are only supposed to bend one way. LMAO!!!
Of all my memories, and I have many, that was among the finest. I actually don't remember much of the fight, except that once I started moving, everything seemed to be happening in slow motion. I was taking my pick of targets and putting everything I had into each one as they came up, and went down.
How sweet it is...

It is always good to keep situational awareness at all times and it is not limited to race.

A lot of people on the internet tell me similar stories, but the people I know who carry regularly (me included) have a hard time concealing a compact semi-auto, even in an IWB holster.
Do you buy extra long shirts to conceal the bottom of your holster or do you live in a place where its OK to expose the holster? Do you mostly carry in rural places or do you carry in a city where people may bump up against you in public places? Do you live in a place where its OK to “print” as long as the gun isn’t actually exposed?
That is because it is not their heads that are getting beaten in.
I buy a shirt that is one size larger than my “normal” size. It bags enough to keep from “printing” much and is a bit longer.
I carry EVERYWHERE except the few locations that are prohibited by my state (Virginia).
Virginia is a Gold State for open carry. If for some reason my pistol gets exposed it doesn’t matter here and if someone bumps into me in a crowd it is their problem, not mine (my opinion). I hate crowds and tend to stay away from most places that have large ones. I live in an area that is a huge bedroom community for the Washington DC area. It was rural when I was stationed here but since I retired from the Air Force it has tripled in population.
My first concealed carry pistol was a compact 45 ACP but after the theater shooting in Colorado I decided I wanted the better accuracy of a longer barrel to better protect myself and family. My wife still carries a compact 45 in the same type of Galco holster. She is 5’2” and about 125 lbs. She just wears a baggy shirt like me. My daughter is 5’7” and carries a Beretta PX4 Storm compact in 40 S&W. She still likes to wear tighter shirts so she keeps it in her purse.
White people declaring that they care for other white people AS white people, is the very DEFINITION of racism, and thus is in no way tolerated by the politically correct.
The great fear of the Progressive Movement is that a critical mass of white people will stand up and say "Yes, I care about my fellow white people, and I don't care if that makes me racist, or if you disapprove".

That explains a lot. You should include that fact when you are talking about your carry options. Its makes the difference between concealed carry and a trip to the police station. I’m in Florida, where city cops will bust you for printing so carrying a full-size handgun in a pancake holster is not feasible.
The cops are not as dumb as they are pretending to be. They know why the crime was committed. But they will be FIRED if they say that it was due to hatred for Whites.
If the prosecutor ever says “hate crime” he will be sent to a reeducation camp.
So PC is getting more and more people killed.
I’m sure the liberals figure we need to get more blacks elected, establish more preferences, look the other way more times, give more benefits, and then maybe they’ll like us better. Heard a speaker for the MLK thing saying “electing a black President was just a DOWN PAYMENT”.
So according to them we’re supposed to pay and pay and pay some more. Howecer, they can’t actually believe this will solve problems since it hasn’t worked so far but it will advance the leader’s bank accounts.
All this reminds me of the treatment of Muslims after 911 when we began importing them & bending over backwards trying not to anger them in the hope they’d like us.

I have a small handgun for everyday carry, and a full-size .45 for cases when I might be traveling through bad neighborhoods at night. I also tend to wear pants with cargo pockets, into which useful items (like flashlight and spare mags) can be stashed.
When people ask me "How do I conceal a gun while wearing X?", I respond "Wrong question. The correct question is what kind of clothing makes it easy to carry and conceal what you need."
How many of these stories can the MSM bury? There must be several dozen a day.
