You go ahead and fight battles doomed to defeat from the outset. The adults will fight battles that can and will be won. Impeachment could only be possibly won if conservatives (not necessarily Republicans) win control of the House and Senate. Right now the GOP owns the House but it’s run by liberals, and the Dems will never go along with impeachment in the Senate, especially when it comes down to what amounts to policy differences.
Curse me all you want. I know what’s possible, and I can extrapolate based on prior events the outcome of such a stand. As I said before, many FReepers won’t like his answer, but it is a good one.
So exactly what battles are being fought and won by the GOP now? The GOP establishment always looks for ways to postpone a fight. They have failed to use the leverage they have in controlling the House. They should have won the Senate the last time.
So what is the GOP doing now to ensure defeat in the 2014 midterms? Amnesty of course. They have made it an urgent item that will split the GOP and reduce turnout in 2014. I will not vote in 2014 for any Rep if any kind of amnesty is passed.
The reality is that the Reps have abandoned the American worker and is pushing the doubling of guest workers and increasing immigration to over 33 million during the next decade, which is more than double what it was in the previous decade, which happened to be the highest in our history. The GOP Establishment is leading the GOP over the cliff.

The question you should ask, "Has Obama committed impeachable offenses?" Do you think he has? If so, then you should be pressuring your representative to do his duty and uphold the oath he swore to the Constitution.

It is the answer of a defeatist. Time is not on our side. The rapidly changing demographics will make the Dems the permanent majority party. We may have already reached a tipping point judging by the 2012 election results. We have entered the era of tribal politics.
So basically you’re saying that we have to make do with having no rule of law until we get more conservatives in the House and Senate than RINO’s or dems?
With the election fraud going on, that will never happen. All that matters is who counts the votes. Which is probably why George Soros targeted Secretaries of States as being the important group to control. Could well also be why Chuck Hagel is SecDef...
