Voters are trying to recall Morse and Giron because of their support of gun control laws that banned rifle and pistol magazines larger than 15 rounds, banned shotgun magazines larger than eight rounds, and mandated a background check on every gun sale in the state, i.e., universal background checks... a new fee that will be added to every gun sale to pay for the background checks... that future Democrats will be able to raise as they please to drive up the cost of buying a gun.

Okay, another fixer-roo is in order. "a blatant attack on our Democrat Party principles."

One princple is the rachet effect principle: Thou shalt never go back. Once a Democrat Party principle is enshrined in law, it is there forever. In this case, it is public disarmament that is the eternal principle.

A second principle is: We never lose elections. When Democrats come up short on votes, step one is voter fraud, file suit and try to "find lost votes". Corollaries kick in when even not enough "lost votes" can be found, in which case voters had a tantrum, or were duped by slick marketing, or "outside forces" came in and overturned the will of the people, or voters were racist, stupid, didn't understand their true interests. In any case, the Democrats never, ever lose an election.
