If he is so insane that he does not know that he is evil then the only merciful thing to do is to take him outside and shoot him.
OTOH, if he is sane then it would be unbearable for any sane man to live with the guilt of his crimes so the only merciful thing to do is to take him outside and shoot him.

I wonder if the gubmint (federal or Ohio state) really did this. Not that I’m shedding any tears for this animal, but I don’t trust any local, state or federal gubmint any longer, especially the federal gubmint. I would THINK that any material (rope, belt, etc) that could be made into a hangman’s noose would have been removed from Ari Castro’s possession. But on the good side, at least we saved a $3-400,000 a yr (or more) that the taxpayer won’t have to pay for the next 30-40 years to keep this maggot alive. I wish the same thing could be arranged for all the current prisoners on death row, especially the Ft Hood killer Major Hassan.

He probably offed himself, rather than face what was eventually going to be done to him by the other inmates. They let such types know what’s coming.
This “man” was nothing but a coward. He kidnapped and abused three women for 10 years. He felt big and powerful then. However, when he was put in captivity, captivity much less severe than his victims as he wasn’t being raped and beaten, he couldn’t even take it for a month. I would hate to have been him when he stood before God.
He was not a very nice person.
And he was “just getting his life turned around.”
Nice to get some good news... may he rot in hell...
